Firstly the best way to make first contact with me is by email as I can't legally answer my phone while teaching or driving, if you send me your contact number using the contact page, I will usually phone you either between lessons if I have chance or in the evening, if I can't reach you I will leave a message telling you a convenient time to contact me but I will still keep trying to contact you. When we speak I will arrange to come to you when convenient to both of us to show you the trial lesson learning pack (it is exactly the same as the first part of the full manual, with written explanations, diagrams plus video briefs and demonstrations) and explain how you get the best out of it. We will also book your 2 hour trial driving lessons in North Somerset. At this visit I will need a £40 deposit so that I can leave the pack with you to study.

You then bring the pack with you to your trial driving lessons in North Somerset and we will cover the cockpit drill (what you need to do to configure the car to you), moving off and stopping as well as introduce steering and gear changing. At the end of the lesson you have the choice as to whether you want to continue learning with me or not, it's a totally free choice based on how you feel about the lesson you've just had.

If you want to continue I will replace your trial lesson pack with the full manual so that you can start preparing for the next driving lessons in North Somerset and we will book future lessons to suit both our availabilities. You will get your £40 deposit back when you have finished with the manual and return it in good condition. With this special offer there is no charge for this first lesson.

If you don't think it is for you for any reason, you don't even have to say why, then you return the trial learning pack to me and I give you back your £40 deposit and we part company amicably without the driving lessons in North Somerset having cost you anything other than a couple of hours of your time.

The catch? This special offer, by the nature of the lesson content, is only suitable for those starting to learn to drive and not for those who have already learnt the basics of vehicle control, for those who have already had some training there is a different special offer available.
