Accelerated Driver Tuition System

Let me introduce the Accelerated Driver Tuition System, a system that has been designed for maximum progress and ease of learning. This is the system I use to provide driving tuition in Weston super Mare.

It is a system where each driving lesson is carefully planned and follows a set programme with clearly defined objectives, where I use professional training materials and modern training methods to ensure your training is both effective and enjoyable whenever you take driving lessons in North Somerset.

Accelerated Driver Tuition Programme:

Stage 1 Driving Lessons

This part of the Accelerated Driver Tuition System will give you the basic control skills needed to drive safely. This is the starting point for most people and essential if you have no previous driving experience.
It covers Preparing the Car, Using the Controls, a Safe System of Driving, Moving off and Stopping, Gears, Steering, Clutch Control, Emergency Stop and most importantly of all using the Safe System of Driving to negotiate basic junctions.

To assist you in this stage there is a detailed manual written specifically for my car, as when it comes to control there are differences in every car once you are conversant with the techniques then you can transfer them to other vehicles. The manual contains detailed descriptions, photographs and diagrams so you can gain the knowledge and understanding you need even before you get in the car. To accompany the manual there are also video briefs and demonstrations you can watch on your computer.

Stage 2 Driving Lessons

This part of the Accelerated Driver Tuition System develops the basic road skills that you will need to be able to drive around town and then further develops your control skills by introducing the manoeuvres that you will need for the driving test. It covers Roundabouts, Straight line reversing, Turn in the Road, Bay parking, Parallel parking and Reversing to the Left .

As with stage 1 there is a manual, video briefs and demonstrations to help you through this stage.

Stage 3 Driving Lessons

This part of the Accelerated Driver Tuition System the driving and road skills you have gained already to deal with a wider range of traffic conditions and situations to cover all aspects that will enable you to become a safe driver. It also covers the independent driving exercise required on your driving test.

Accompanying this stage instead of a manual that is specific to my car there is "The Official DSA Guide to Driving the essential skills" The road and traffic situations you will need to be able to deal with are not specific to my car so I refer you to the best advice out there written by the people who set and administer the driving tests. Once you have completed 20 or more hours of tuition with me this book is yours to keep as it is written not only for learners but also for more experienced drivers to be able to reference to maintain their driving skills. To go with this book is a set of quick reference diagrams and video demonstrations.

Stage 4

This is the final preparation for your driving test. It covers the vehicle safety questions you will be asked, how the driving test works, how the mock test you will take prior to the driving test works and how to deal with test nerves.

This stage is accompanied by a manual with written detail and photographs.

The Accelerated Driver Tuition System is up to 30% more efficient than a traditional driving lesson. Preparing for a driving lesson at home beforehand, using the Accelerated Driver Tuition System video programmes and manual will significantly cut down the amount of time normally spent by an instructor at the beginning of each new lesson at the side of the road on a lesson brief. Normally an instructor will take up to 20 minutes or more explaining about the driving lesson objectives, the road procedures you need to learn and the driving techniques you need to understand. All this needs to be done before you get moving and therefore takes up your valuable time in the car. All my driving lessons in North Somerset use the Accelerated Driver Tuition System so all this can in fact be covered by yourself at home, beforehand, at a time to suit you and without having to pay for time in the car without doing any driving. All you need to do is work through the information in your Accelerated Driver Tuition System manual and watch the video briefs and demonstrations on your computer. In this way you can come to the driving lesson fully prepared and all I need to do is ask a few questions to check you understood the subject and away you go putting it into practical road skills - a much more efficient approach that saves you a considerable amount of paid time and therefore a lot of money.
